Tim Schroeder

Timothy Schroeder

Chief Executive Officer and Founder

Timothy Schroeder, CEO and Founder of CTI, has over 35 years of clinical, academic, and industry experience in global drug and device development programs. CTI, founded in 1999, is a multi-national research firm with associates in North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific. The firm, which in one of the 20 largest CROs in the world and has supported more than 100 drug and device approvals, currently works on behalf of approximately 135 global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Prior to founding CTI, Tim held numerous faculty positions with the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He was also the founding Executive Vice President of Clinical Development at SangStat Medical Corporation, which went public in 1995. Tim is currently a board member for over a dozen corporate and non-profit organizations, including Xavier University, which he attended. Tim was named as an EY Entrepreneur of the Year in 2015, as Top Leader by the Enquirer Media in 2016, and as Deal Maker of the Year in 2017 by the Association for Corporate Growth.

Lynn Fallon

Lynn Fallon


Lynn Fallon, President, has over 30 years of clinical, academic, and industry experience.  Since co-founding CTI, Lynn has lead the development and expansion of the company, including having responsibility for all aspects of the Consulting, Medical Affairs, and Health Economics and Outcomes Research departments. Prior to CTI, Lynn held research positions at both Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and Fujisawa Healthcare, and she held clinical positions at Albert Einstein Medical Center, including serving as transplant administrator, coordinator and clinician.  Lynn is currently a board member for multiple corporate and non-profit organizations.  Lynn received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of the State of New York.

Kevin Schwarz

Chief Operating Officer

Kevin Schwarz currently serves as Chief Operating Officer, with direct management oversight of CTI’s global clinical trial operations. He has been vital to the growth of the clinical trial operations as CTI has continued its global expansion.   Kevin has over 30 years of experience in a variety of different areas of business and operations, including the CRO industry.  Before joining CTI, he held several positions with Kendle International, including Director of North American Clinical Operations and Vice President of Operations. Kevin received a bachelor’s of science degree from Miami University. He was awarded the 2018 C-Suite Award for Chief Operating Officer by the Cincinnati Business Courier.

Paul Ritter

Paul Ritter, Esq

Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer

Paul Ritter, currently Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, manages all legal aspects of CTI, and has been integral to the global expansion of the company over the past several years. He has over 30 years of legal, business management, and industry experience.  Before joining CTI, Paul was Vice President and General Counsel for Kendle International, served as Senior Corporate Counsel for Revco D.S. Inc., and began his legal career as an associate at Frost & Jacobs.  Paul was instrumental in the organization and founding of the Association of Clinical Research Organizations (ACROs), the CRO industry's first trade association.  He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Dayton and earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Notre Dame.  Paul is an active member of the Ohio and Cincinnati Bar Associations and the American Corporate Counsel Association. He was named a finalist in the 2018 C-Suite Award for Chief Legal Officer by the Cincinnati Business Courier.

Maria Marsh, BS, CPA

Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Maria Marsh is currently Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and has over 35 years of business management and accounting experience. Since joining CTI, Maria has lead all aspects of the financial activities as the company has expanded to include associates and locations around the world. Prior to working at CTI, Maria was Controller at Phoenix International Life Sciences and also spent 15 years with the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in multiple departments.  Maria received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati and is a Certified Public Accountant with the State of Ohio. Maria was named CFO of the Year by the Cincinnati Business Courier in 2013.

Patrick Earley

Patrick J. Earley, MBA

Chief International Business Officer

Patrick Earley is currently Chief International Business Officer, leading the strategic global expansion into Europe, Latin America, Asia-Pac, and MENA regions.  Pat also works closely with the Business Development team to provide strategic direction.  Prior to joining CTI, he held positions in the healthcare and insurance industries, with MetLife, P5 E. Health Services, Harrington Benefit Services, and First Health.  Pat received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from West Liberty State College and his Master of Business Administration from Xavier University.
